Life at Commonwealth Senior Living at Christiansburg

Commonwealth Senior Living is proud to serve our residents and their families in Christiansburg, Virginia. Our community offers both Assisted Living with three different floorplan options, and Memory Care, with two different floorplan options, allowing our residents to age in place. This means that while an individual’s care needs may change, their home, hobbies, and interests don’t have to.

Our residents enjoy privacy, dignity, and peace of mind knowing that all maintenance and chores will be taken care of by our dedicated associates. Our team is on-site and available at a moment’s notice to provide support and assistance at any time of day or night. We’re here to make every moment of each day a pleasure for our residents. They also engage with our Programming Team daily through our award-winning signature programs such as farm-to-table dining and our Special Touch program. Our residents also love our painting parties, spa socials, and pool parties at the only indoor pool featured throughout all of Commonwealth’s communities. Within just a few miles’ radius, our residents can enjoy a variety of delicious restaurants like Avellinos Italian Restaurant or Taqueria el Paso, enjoy a service at Belmont Christian Church or Hope Valley Church, take a shopping excursion to Target or Hobby Lobby, catch a game at Virginia Tech, or explore the outdoors at Ellett Valley Recreational Area. In addition to these local activities, our community is conveniently located near LewisGale Physicians, Peter Coccaro J MD Cardiology, Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, and LewisGale Hospital Montgomery.

Katherine, one of our residents’ loved ones, said, “When my grandfather moved in here, it just seemed like no time until he was part of this family….You really feel the love here. It’s a community.”

Improving the lives of seniors and their families is central to everything we do at Commonwealth Senior Living. Understanding who our residents are and their history allows us to provide person-centered care in ways that are both positive and meaningful to the residents, their families, and our team.
