Commonwealth Senior Living at the Eastern Shore

When a single elderly friend of mine (in No VA) with early Alzheimer's was unexpectedly paralyzed following a stroke, I reached out to Andrea Pingley, the Sales Director (at the Commonwealth Eastern Shore location) for urgent help. Andrea was nothing short of a miracle! She dropped-everything to provide an expedited virtual tour, help me assess the personal finances to make sure the facility could be afforded long-term, helped with the application/qualification process and also explained how the facility accommodations/services could cover the subject complex mental and physical care needs. Additionally, Andrea (knowing that my friend had no one else to care for her) helped accelerate the move-in process so there was no gap in care following her stroke rehab stay. Andrea exhibited a remarkable level of care for the well-being of my friend, and I am grateful to her! I would also like to thank Jennifer at the front desk for taking all my calls, and helping me care for my friend from a distance!

As a cna for 30 plus years I was on the memory care unit as a LMT today. Sitting and listening to the patience and love each of the employees showed the patients was absolutely beautiful. All of them were amazing with the patients but 3 of them stood out Mrs Margaret , Mr. Zion And Mr. Fred . Ty for restoring my love and passion for Healthcare.

My husband was welcomed into The Eastern Shore Commonwealth community last summer. Jim and I have been pleased and grateful for the care and CARING we have both experienced here. Visiting Jim has proven to be an absolute pleasure for me. I have been privileged to be embraced by many of the residents and the staff. Jim and I especially enjoy the music performances and activities!

For the past two years, this was the perfect home for my 85-year old mother. She lived in the independent living wing, until she could no longer care for her own needs. I am grateful for the love, the compassion and the kindness from not just the Executive Director but from all of the employees from the chef to the helpers and volunteers. It is truly a home away from home and I highly recommend Commonwealth Senior Living at the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Bonus: the nature outside of every window is lovely.

Beautiful senior living community. Tastefully decorated and the grounds are amazing 👏🏻 🤩 Staff is excellent. Independent living apartments, assisted living studios and assisted care studio apartments. There is also a memory care wing. Professional. Very nice.
