We found some interesting lamps at the Habitat NRV ReStore while we were waiting for our table at Casa Del Rio. Hazel thought they would be perfect for Christmas trees. Doris said they looked like they belonged in the house of Dr. Seuss! We had fun looking at the unique furniture and then trying some tasty appetizers at Casa Del Rio!

Our final round of Jenga this morning turned into the tallest tower any of us have ever seen in a Jenga game! It was well over our heads!

Starting the Conversation - CSL Christiansburg

We understand starting the conversation about adding support may be intimidating, but we want you to know you are not alone. Remember that you have an army of supporters and people like us who are available to assist you on your journey. Don’t get us wrong, it will not be easy. You may feel guilty over wanting to move your loved one from the home they love and at the same time feel fearful about what may happen to them if you don’t. However, going about this conversation in the right way will ensure your loved one will live safely, have a higher quality of life, and you will have peace of mind knowing you did the right thing. In our free upcoming presentation, we’ll discuss things to consider during this step, how to frame the conversation, manage expectations, and honor your loved one’s feelings to ensure the best outcome for your family.
