Commonwealth Senior Living at Churchland House

I recently witnessed something at Commonwealth Churchland House that really stuck with me a resident who seemed disoriented and in need of comfort was in the hallway. The Resident Care Director came out, calmly reassured her, and gently guided her back to her room. The compassion in her voice and the way she treated that resident was genuinely moving. It didn’t feel clinical—it felt personal, like she was caring for one of her own loved ones. That moment really reflects what stands out overall—the sense of community. Residents seem comfortable and at home, the building is clean and welcoming, and the staff are attentive and engaged. What also impressed me was the leadership I’ve personally seen the administrator roll up his sleeves and handle plumbing issues just to keep things running smoothly. That kind of ownership and care isn’t something you see everywhere.

I’ve worked with multiple senior living communities, yet the team at Commonwealth Senior Living at Churchland House specifically stands out. It’s rare to find a management team that is this easy to deal with while staying so focused on the residents. Huge shoutout to the Executive Director, Luke Peterson. He’s incredibly down-to-earth and gets things done. He’s involved, he’s accessible, and he genuinely cares about the culture of the building. It makes a world of difference when the person at the top is that invested. If you’re looking for a place that’s run by great people who know what they’re doing, Churchland House is it.

The Executive Director, Luke Peterson, is exceptional. Absolute stand up guy and I would definitely recommend him and Commonwealth Senior Living to anyone who asks me.

My dad was a resident at Churchland House and loved it there. He started out in Assisted Living and eventually moved to the Dementia Unit. It is a clean, beautiful place with great care and love given to residents. Well managed and loving staff.

What a great place if someone you know needs Senior Living Care. While my friend Ms. Nancy was only there four months, I can truly say that everyone who was involved in her care was excellent and the place is very clean and bright and attractive! I personally want to thank each one of the following people for their care and patience they all displayed especially during the more challenging times with Ms. Nancy. They handled everything with skill and grace!
