Commonwealth Senior Living at South Boston

We were given a thorough tour of the facility. Everyone was very friendly and we were greeted by every single staff member as we took our tour. The decor is very tasteful and we had the feeling of it being more like being in your home rather than a sterile environment. Mildred was very easy to talk to and made sure all of our questions were answered. We never felt rushed. We were very pleased with what we saw and feel this will be a great fit for our father.

We are so grateful to have our loved one at Commonwealth. We have had such a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciate all of the staff and the care they provide. A special thank-you to Miranda, the Resident Care Director. She is always welcoming, professional, and wears a smile. Miranda does an excellent job coordinating doctor visits, returning calls in a timely manner, and keeping us informed. She has great communication skills and is always willing to answer our questions. What we appreciate most is that Miranda takes the time to explain any health concerns or changes and does her very best to make sure our loved one receives the care and attention she needs. Her compassion, patience, and dedication give us great peace of mind. The entire staff has been lovely, caring, and supportive. Knowing that our loved one is in good hands and living in such a great facility means so much to our family. I have been immensely pleased with all aspects of care at Commonwealth for my mother. From admission with Christy, to the overseeing of all the daily things with Miranda. Miranda and especially Melissa are always available for me. It is such a huge comfort knowing that their doors are always open and that Melissa will walk every step of the way with me on assisting with doctor appointments and coordination. She listens and makes sure that my mother’s needs are being taken care of and that I have the support that I need as well. Not to mention the smiling staff that attends to all of our needs. It shows that the staff enjoys working there and that makes all the difference to the residents and their families.

The young lady Samantha at the front desk was so sweet she always is so welcoming and has a big smile on her face! Its nice to have a friendly face to see!
